2. Implementation of the Privacy Policy

All persons employed by us on a regular or temporary basis who have access to users’ personal and other data are informed of their obligation to protect personal and other data and are required to comply with the provisions regarding the protection of the privacy of users of our online store and the confidentiality of personal data. Access to personal data and the amount of personal data accessible have been limited to the minimum necessary to ensure the optimal provision of services. 4. Why We Collect Data

Purchases in the online store – when making a purchase, you provide us with your first name, last name, address, postal code, city, country, email address, telephone number and, where applicable, company name and company VAT/tax number. We need this information for delivery, issuing invoices and fulfilling your order. We will send an order confirmation to the email address provided during the purchase. We may also send special offers and notifications to your email address and telephone number (via SMS). We may use anonymised aggregated data for statistical analysis purposes. The user agrees that they may receive notifications and promotional offers from our online store via email and/or SMS to their telephone number.

5. SMS Notifications

For sending electronic messages to individuals (SMS messages, messages through instant messaging applications and email messages), the controller uses the Cartfox service. The Cartfox Privacy Policy and information about the Cartfox service provider are available here. The controller manages personal data jointly with the Cartfox service provider. Personal data of individuals processed within the Cartfox service includes:
  • email address;
  • telephone number;
  • information about the website or application through which the email address and/or telephone number was provided;
  • information relating to the sending of messages:
    • type of message (SMS, instant messaging application message (type of application), email message);
    • date sent;
    • time sent;
    • content/purpose of the message (e.g. abandoned shopping cart, discount notification, etc.);
  • information regarding undeliverable messages (date and time when the non-delivery notification was received);
  • information regarding actions performed (e.g. purchase of an item from an abandoned shopping cart, purchase of a discounted item, etc.).
Personal data (email address, telephone number) is automatically transmitted to the joint controller, the Cartfox service provider, when an individual enters this information on the controller’s website or application. The legal basis for processing personal data when using the Cartfox service is:
  • the individual’s consent (for recipients who have provided consent to receive messages);
  • the controller’s legitimate interest (for recipients who have not provided consent to receive messages).
Each message received contains instructions for easily unsubscribing from further messages. By unsubscribing, the recipient only unsubscribes from messages sent through the Cartfox service. If you wish to unsubscribe completely from all messages sent by the controller, you may contact us at [gdpr@upravljavec.si](mailto:gdpr@upravljavec.si). The purpose of processing personal data within the Cartfox service is to encourage recipients to purchase products or services on the controller’s website or application, or to verify their intention to conclude a contract (e.g. in connection with abandoned shopping cart notifications). Personal data processed within the Cartfox service is not disclosed to third parties (except to the joint controller, the Cartfox service provider), and the controller does not have direct access to such data. Within Cartfox, the controller can only access reports containing aggregated and therefore anonymised data (e.g. number of messages sent, number of purchases resulting from sent messages, etc.). Personal data processed within the Cartfox service is not transferred to third countries or international organisations, meaning it is not exported or transferred outside the territory of EU Member States. Information regarding the retention period of personal data processed within Cartfox, the protection of such personal data and the rights individuals have in relation to such personal data is available in the CARTFOX Privacy and Personal Data Processing Policy. For further information, you may contact [gdpr@dfvu.org](mailto:gdpr@dfvu.org) or the Data Protection Officer of JK Group d.o.o., Stegne 27, 1000 Ljubljana, [dpo@jkgroup.si](mailto:dpo@jkgroup.si), +386 (0)590 91 794.

6. Your Rights Based on Consent Given

An individual may at any time request that the personal data controller permanently or temporarily stop using their personal data for the purposes stated above. Such a request may be sent at any time to info@go4goal.net, and must clearly specify which consent or consents the individual wishes to withdraw. In addition, individuals have the following rights: the right to access personal data collected in relation to them, whereby the controller may use all reasonable means to verify the identity of the individual to whom the personal data relates, particularly in the case of online services and online identifiers, the right to rectify inaccurate data collected in relation to them, whereby the controller may use all reasonable means to verify the identity of the individual to whom the personal data relates, particularly in the case of online services and online identifiers, the right to be “forgotten”, i.e. the right to erasure of all data where the conditions set out in Article 17 of the General Data Protection Regulation are met, the right to stop the use of personal data for direct marketing purposes, including profiling, the right not to be subject to decisions regarding the use of personal data based solely on automated processing, the right to lodge a complaint against the personal data controller with the supervisory authority if the individual believes that the processing of their personal data violates the General Data Protection Regulation. If you wish to change your personal data or request that we permanently or temporarily stop using it for the purposes for which it was provided or collected, please send us an email.

7. Ownership of Data

We are the sole owner of the data collected on this website. We undertake not to disclose such data to third parties, except where necessary for the delivery of products. We will provide the delivery service only with the information strictly necessary to deliver products purchased through our online store.

8. Individual Responsibility

Users are also responsible for protecting their own personal data by ensuring that their computer, smartphone or other device used to access our online store is appropriately protected with suitable software, including antivirus protection.

9. Exceptional Disclosure of Data

The data we collect and process will only be disclosed where such disclosure is required by law or where, in good faith, such action is necessary for proceedings before courts or other public authorities or for the protection and enforcement of our legitimate interests.

10. Complaints and Disputes

We comply with applicable consumer protection legislation. We have established an effective complaints handling system. Complaints may be submitted by email to info@go4goal.net. The complaints handling procedure is confidential. We recognise that a key characteristic of consumer disputes, particularly in relation to judicial resolution, is the disproportion between the economic value of the claim and the costs incurred in resolving the dispute. This is also one of the main reasons why consumers may choose not to initiate court proceedings. We therefore make every effort to resolve any disputes amicably. If you wish to change your personal data or request that we temporarily or permanently stop using it for the purposes for which it was provided or collected, please send us an email. If you believe that provisions concerning the protection of your personal data have been violated, please notify us at [info@go4goal.net](mailto:info@go4goal.net). We will investigate the matter, take appropriate action and respond within a reasonable period. If you have any questions, issues or comments regarding this Privacy Policy, please also contact us at [info@go4goal.net](mailto:info@go4goal.net).

11. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to amend this document (for example due to changes in legislation), so we recommend that you periodically review this section of our online store. We also use cookies on our website. More information is available here. Last updated: 1 October 2022
